Overview

Ecorow is a sustainable marketplace to inculcate a nature-friendly behavior in consumers. It is backed by a mission to simplify conscious consumerism by connecting you to ethical and eco-friendly products. Ecorow contributes to a greener future.

Problem Statement

How might we inculcate a nature-friendly and sustainable lifestyle to make us more responsible inhabitants of Planet Earth?

The Solution

A simplified application to purchase reliable eco-friendly products in one place and contribute to a better environment.

Background Research

66%

of online shoppers prefer shopping at one place where they can find everything.

9/10

of online shoppers want mobile shopping experience to be improved.

45%

of consumers started buying sustainable products since 2020 and it is likely to increase.

Taking these metrics into consideration, the idea of creating a marketplace specific to sustainable products and good made more sense now than ever. Ecorow is one such marketplace where various brands can sell their products which would make consumers find all the sustainable goods in one place. Donation and recycling are also practices that should become more prevalent to bolster sustainability.

Conclusion

Ecorow has created a platform that not only addresses consumer needs but also advocates for transparency and eco-conscious decision-making. I have thoroughly enjoyed creating a platform to make consumers as responsible habitants. In a world of fast fashion, illegal trade policies and labour abuse, I intended to emphasize on an application that possesses the potential to revamp e-commerce.

If I had more time, I would have elaborated the donate feature and how consumers not only buy but also do their part in giving back. A few more intricate aspects to showcase the transparency and quality assurance would make Ecorow a more solid case study. Additionally, further collaboration with sustainability experts and environmental organizations could enhance the credibility and impact of Ecorow in promoting eco-friendly practices.
